Butler man accused of stealing Hot Pockets
A hungry shoplifter was caught red-handed with Hot Pockets stuffed in his pants, Butler police said.
An officer found Edward A. Kriebel, 53, of Butler around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Dollar General store on North Main Street, where police were called for a shoplifting in progress.
He acknowledged Patrolman Myles Bizub, police said, and advised that he knew why the officer was there.
Kriebel admitted “he had Hot Pockets in his pants,” Bizub’s affidavit said.
