GOP wants Robinson to be named judge now
The Butler County Republican Committee wants William Robinson appointed as judge now to help with a growing backlog of cases.
A letter was submitted to Wolf on Aug. 28 claiming that Robinson's victory in both Republican and Democratic primaries should indicate a high likelihood of winning the fall election.
“He's in a state of limbo now. He's winding down his practice, and he's sitting on the sideline waiting to be judge,” said Al Lindsay Jr., Republican Committee chairman. “There's a need out there for him.”
