SRU student charged with kicking state trooper
SLIPPERY ROCK TWP — A Slippery Rock University student faces a hearing next month on charges that she kicked a trooper during a weekend disturbance at an apartment complex.
Jordyn E. Katic, 19, of Gibsonia is accused of felony and misdemeanor assault, resisting arrest and other charges. She is free on $7,500 bail.
State police said they were called around 2:10 a.m. Sunday for a fight at the Campus Side Apartments. They came upon Katic, who they say was on the sidewalk yelling. She lives at the complex.
