Police have identified the man killed in a crash in Muddy Creek Township on Friday morning.

Joshua Travis, 22, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, died after he was ejected from his 2015 Ram 1500 around 6 a.m. on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township, Butler State Police said.

According to the police report, Travis was driving northbound on I-79 when he lost control of his truck and traveled off the roadway.

The driver overcorrected, came across the roadway and struck an embankment, causing his vehicle to roll over.

Travis, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
