Moniteau superintendent resigns
Sean Arney, superintendent of the Moniteau School District, announced his resignation Monday night.
Arney submitted his resignation to the school board at Monday night's board meeting, according to district solicitor Andrea Parenti, and the school board approved it.
Arney indicated to the board he plans to return to Montgomery County in eastern Pennsylvania for various family reasons. He joined Moniteau in 2017 after leaving a school district in that area.
He has not yet actually left the job. He will continue conducting business in the meantime with a final day yet to be set.
