Drug felon arrested for allegedly not reporting to prison
A drug felon who allegedly failed to report to the Butler County Prison six weeks ago is behind bars — this time without bond.
The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force captured 29-year-old Eric L. Barlow Jr. Wednesday at a home in McKeesport, Allegheny County.
Barlow of McKeesport was arrested without incident, said Deputy U.S. Marshal Sean Kiley.
Authorities said they used “known associates” of the fugitive to track him down to the home. He was alone inside.
“He eventually came out,” Kiley said, “after answering the door.”
U.S. Marshals nabbed Barlow on a felony escape charge in an arrest warrant issued Sept. 11 by District Judge William Fullerton in Butler after he allegedly did not show up at the Butler County Prison.
