Man, 59, accused of indecent exposure involving toddler

FORWARD TOWNSHIP — A township man is accused of exposing himself to a child.

William A. Ferrari, 59, no address listed, is charged with felony corruption of a minor and misdemeanor indecent exposure.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, state police Trooper Kevin Goss was assigned a ChildLine report initially received by the Butler County District Attorney's Office in March.

In April, Goss spoke with a complainant familiar with Ferrari who told authorities she discovered the defendant allegedly standing in front of a toddler on a bed with his pants open in March.

The woman further told investigators Ferrari told her he was showing the child his genitalia, according to the complaint.

“He hurriedly tried to fix his pants and pull his zipper back up,” the woman reported, according to the charging documents.

The woman told authorities she questioned Ferrari about why he would expose himself to the child, and that Ferrari allegedly replied, “I don't know? This is all on me.”

A preliminary hearing and arraignment are scheduled for Oct. 8 before District Judge Wayne Seibel.
