Ten people are accused in an alleged marijuana ring in Butler County that was so lucrative, authorities said, one member quit his legitimate job to sell pot and another paid cash to buy a new Toyota 4-Runner.

When search warrants eventually were served, more than $137,000 linked to the suspected cross-country marijuana network was seized, said investigators with the state attorney general's office and state police.

Also confiscated, according to a state grand jury presentment, were at least 32 pounds of marijuana; more 2,000 marijuana vapes; and marijuana oil, wax, “crumble” and edibles.

Other drugs allegedly found included hallucinogenic mushrooms, LSD strips and a small amount of cocaine. Authorities also seized 15 guns and three vehicles.

On Monday, police arrested Macklin C. Haye, 27, and his girlfriend, Savannah M. Blust, 26, both of North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County.

The other suspects turned themselves in Monday at the office of District Judge Lewis Stoughton in Chicora. They included Jon E. Haye, 46, of Fairview Township, Macklin's father; William G. Blust III, 24, of Slippery Rock; and Corey T. Eiler, 28, of Chicora.

Also, Jarrett R. Lavan, 28, of Summit Township, Colten J. McIllwain, 28, of Saxonburg; David A. Negrin, 35, of Slippery Rock; Bradley A. Wiles, 33, and Marlee C. Wiles, 29, both of Kittanning, turned themselves in.

All are charged with felony counts of corrupt organizations, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy and criminal use of a communication facility.
