SLIPPERY ROCK TWP — A township man is accused of overdosing on opioids last month while caring for two children at his home.

State police charged Stephen T. Gilkinson, 33, on Monday with felony and misdemeanor counts of child endangerment.

Police said they were called Sept. 15 to the defendant's home on Overlook Drive for a reported drug overdose. Ambulance crew members advised police that they had to use Narcan to revive Gilkinson.
