Butler School Board to vote Monday on naming rights for press box
The press box at Art Bernardi Stadium likely will continue to be called NexTier Press Box for the next five years.
If the Butler School Board approves a contract with the bank during a Monday meeting, more money will soon arrive for improvements to athletics facilities. This summer, such funding paid for renovations to athletics locker rooms.
According to a draft copy of the contract, NexTier would pay $3,000 annually for the naming rights for five years for a total of $15,000. The bank would cover costs for whichever signs go up indicating the new name.
The agreement is up for consideration at Monday night's Butler School Board meeting. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Butler Intermediate High School's library.
