KC man given two prison sentences for DUIs
A Karns City man was sentenced to two prison sentences Wednesday for his third and fourth DUI, with one involving a two-car crash.
Aaron J. Banks, 34, of Karns City pleaded guilty in October to driving drunk on two separate occasions just weeks apart in May. Judge William Shaffer sentenced him to two jail sentences: one to two years in prison and one to five years. The two sentences are running simultaneously. He received 84 days of credit for time already served on each case.
In the most recent DUI, Butler police said they found him apparently passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle in May.
