A-C Valley suspends student for alleged social media threat

FOXBURG, Clarion County — The Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District has suspended a student for allegedly making a threat on social media that resulted in a campus lockdown Monday and a two-hour delay of classes Tuesday.

He said the threat was discovered on a social media site after school hours Monday by an administrator in a neighboring school district who learned about it from a parent and contacted him. “I quickly realized it was one of our students,' McDeavitt said.
