Double Wide Grill set to close next month
SEVEN FIELDS — For the past seven years, Double Wide Grill served eclectic, made-from-scratch cuisine along with an extensive craft beer selection.
The fictional “Hullficker” family has been honored to be a part of the local community, making friends and connections at every turn, owners Steve Zumoff and Scott Kramer said.
But the Double Wide Grill has run out of gas. The trailer park is closing and moving along.
Zumoff and Kramer will begin a new chapter in the ever-changing restaurant industry, in which they've been involved for the past 30 years.
“We have had a great run and really enjoy being a part of the Mars community,” Zumoff said. “It's just time for us to make a change.”
The Double Wide Grill remains open until Dec. 1. Customers will have access to the full menu until the restaurant closes.
“We look forward to serving our customers up to the last day,” Kramer said, “and hope people will stop in to enjoy one last hurrah, some great food and a fun time as we say goodbye over the next few weeks.”
Double Wide Grill locations in the South Side and Irwin will remain open.
