Hearing scheduled for 2 arrested in Butler drug raid
Hearings are scheduled next week for a man and woman allegedly caught with a combined 145 stamp bags of suspected heroin, about 10 grams of crack cocaine and more than $1,600 stemming from a drug raid at a Butler home.
Maurice W. Johnson, 36, and Jennifer R. Claypoole, 45, both of Butler are each behind bars on six-figure bond, charged with felony possession after county narcotics officers executed a search warrant Monday at Claypoole's home.
Both defendants were found at the home on First Street, according to the Butler County Drug Task Force. Johnson and Claypoole were detained and taken to the Butler police station.
