PITTSBURGH — UPMC Passavant announced that it's expanding services at its North Hills and Cranberry locations as well as at Cranberry's UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex.

Passavant employees, medical staff and community leaders attended a celebratory event Tuesday to learn how the Passavant hospitals and outpatient centers in the North Hills will advance as UPMC's specialty care hub for Pittsburgh's northern region.

UPMC is bolstering capabilities at UPMC Passavant - Cranberry, UPMC Passavant - McCandless, UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex and UPMC Outpatient Center in Hampton Township to expand access to UPMC's subspecialized care.

According to a press release, UPMC Passavant – Cranberry will remain in the location where breast surgery is performed.

UPMC Magee-Womens Specialty Services will open inside UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, which will include a OB-GYN in 2020.
