Butler Township police are asking for help in locating a woman who is accused of stealing money from a charity donation jar.

The suspect is believed to have stolen from the jar, which collects money for the Children's Miracle Network, at the Speedway on Hansen Avenue at 9:23 a.m. Oct. 24.

The police department posted a photo of the woman, and asked for help in identifying her in regard to the theft.

Police said the woman was seen driving a light colored Chevrolet Malibu that is believed to be a 2004 to 2008 model. Police ask anyone with information about the woman to call the department at 724-285-9600.
