About 100 residents in the northern Butler County borough of Eau Claire were evacuated from their homes late Sunday morning after a car crashed into a shed housing a gas line.

According to dispatchers at 911 center, residents were evacuated as a precautionary measure following the one-vehicle crash at the intersection of East Park Avenue and South Washington Street. The crash occurred about 11:17 a.m. and no one was injured.

Dispatchers report the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department is on scene, as well as troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police.
