Woman charged with kicking two officers during DUI stop
CRANBERRY TWP — A DUI stop turned into a felony charge after a Freedom woman allegedly kicked two police officers.
Leah Rose Testa, 29, faces charges of felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor charges of accident involving damage to an attended vehicle and driving under the influence of a controlled substance and summary charges of driving at unsafe speeds, operating an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle that is uninspected.
According to Cranberry Township police, Officer Edward Horan pulled over Testa after, he said, she rear-ended a pickup at a traffic light, pulled in front of the truck in traffic and didn’t provide the driver with her insurance information.
