3 women facing drug charges after Butler drug stop
Three women face hearings next month on drug charges stemming from a traffic stop in Butler that allegedly turned up suspected heroin, crack cocaine and other contraband.
Cindy L. Anderson, 39, and Nicole A. Summerville, 42, both of Clay Township, were two passengers in a car that was stopped Feb. 3. They are each charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors.
The driver, Jolene L. Schirra, 33, of Franklin, Venango County, is charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
A Butler patrolman stopped the car around 2 p.m. a short time after Schirra failed to come to a complete stop at West Penn and Broad streets, police said.
