Golden Tornado tears through Mt. Lebanon in thrilling 70-61 win
The Butler Golden Tornado won its first WPIAL 6A championship title since 1991.
Taking their winning streak to 15, the boys basketball team handily defeated Mt. Lebanon 70-61.
Devin Carney had 24 points, Ethan Morton 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Mattix Clement 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Butler players ran into the student section to share their win with fans and celebrate the town's first title win 29 years.
