Barbara J. Steighner, 82, of Cabot passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 11, 1937, in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late J.G. Wheeler and Jean J. (Johnson) Wheeler.

She was retired from Bi-Lo grocery store.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel D. Steighner, whom she married Nov. 23, 1984; three daughters, Tammy Sue Wardlaw, Lisa Harris and April Wills; one son, Clayton Yoakum; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Boyd Wheeler and Jay Wheeler; and one sister, Sue.
