Virginia Dare “Jean” Molino

Virginia Dare “Jean” Molino, 98, of Butler passed away on Feb. 25, 2020.

She was born Sept. 8, 1921, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of the late Frank Golletti and the late Carmella Spinello Golletti.

Virginia retired as an insurance cashier for Monumental Life Insurance Co. in Pittsburgh.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Virginia belonged to St. Paul Christian Mothers, and was formerly a member of AARP and Tanglewood.

She loved to read and do crafts. Virginia especially loved spending time with family.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Edie (Carl) Godlewski of Butler; three grandchildren, Kurt Godlewski of Butler, Eric (Melissa) Godlewski of Massachusetts, and Carla (Craig) Smith of Saxonburg; five great-grandchildren, Eric D. Godlewski Jr., Allison Marie Smith, Sarah Godlewski, Liam Smith and Ben Godlewski; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard A. Molino; three sisters, Theresa (Philip) Chiechi, Rose Casertano and Mary Santucci; and one brother, Dom Golletti.

MOLINO — Friends of Virginia Dare “Jean” Molino, who died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, will be received from 10 a.m. until noon Monday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler, with the Rev. John Baver officiating.Private entombment will take place in Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
