Former Moniteau student, 15, drowns in creek
The body of a missing 15-year-old McKeesport boy was recovered Wednesday afternoon from Jacobs Creek, Westmoreland County.
The body was identified as Nadarius Lundy, who was a former student in the Moniteau School District.
“The death of Nadarius Lundy is devastating news,” said Moniteau Superintendant Tom Samosky in an email to the Butler Eagle Wednesday.
“On behalf of the Moniteau School District, I express our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and classmates of Nadarius during this very difficult time,” he said. “We know this news is difficult to process and affects many members of our school community. Anyone in need of support is encouraged to contact our high school guidance counselors.”
