Robert Shafer of Casper Paving in Mars paints new lines Tuesday in the parking lot of the new Gabe's store at 300 Pullman Square, the site of the former Kmart.

Gabe’s will open its largest location to date in Butler June 27, according to an announcement Friday.

The Butler location, at 300 Pullman Square, will be more than 105,000 square feet. Management said will be its biggest store.

“Here at the Butler Gabe’s, you will find more selection, expanded departments and more deliveries per week of amazing, unbelievable deals,” said Leigh Guldig, senior vice president of marketing for Gabe’s.

The location was last used as a Kmart, which was an anchor store when Pullman Square Plaza opened in November 1993. Kmart closed its doors in the summer of 2017.
