Ritzert 70th anniversary
Vince and Pearl Ritzert celebrated 70 years of marriage with a family dinner June 14 at their son’s home.
Ritzert married the former Pearl Hutchison on June 15, 1950, at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.
They have three children, Vincent (Elaine) Ritzert of Butler, Dennis (Patricia) Ritzert of Chicora, and Kathleen Ritzert of Cranberry Township.
They also have two grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
Ritzert was a World War II veteran serving as a seaman 2nd class in the U.S. Navy.
Ritzert retired from Neville Synthese Organics Inc. in 1991.
He is a member of American Legion Post 642 in Chicora and a life member of VFW Post 7876.
Mrs. Ritzert retired from International Staple and Machine in 1993.
The Ritzerts are members of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.
