Want to see 4th of July fireworks? Here is where to go in Butler County
While many events, municipalities and boroughs have canceled fireworks displays this Fourth of July, there are still a few taking place around the county.
Display begins around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Michelle Krill Memorial Field at Historic Pullman Park in Butler after a doubleheader between the Butler BlueSox and Toledo Hawks. The fireworks will be ignited from the parking lot behind the center field wall.
Display begins at dusk Friday. They will be lighted in the cemetery. Spectators should not go to the cemetery to watch.
Display begins at dusk Saturday. They will be lighted on the east side of town. Spectators are asked to follow all applicable Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines regarding social distancing and mask wearing.
Display begins at dusk on Friday. Parking to watch is available at the carnival grounds and surrounding areas. Organizers are asking spectators to practice social distancing.
Display begins at 9:30 p.m. and spans about 10 minutes. The fireworks will be set off just over Slippery Rock Park. The park will also be open to spectators, who will be able to put down blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the show all while social distancing due to COVID-19.
