Motorcyclist taken to hospital after collision with unmarked state police vehicle
FAIRVIEW TWP — A motorcycle and an unmarked state police vehicle collided into each other Friday morning in Fairview Township, according to state police.
The unmarked police vehicle was driven by a trooper based out of Kittanning, according to a state police spokesman and the motorcyclist was injured in the accident. The incident happened around Route 268 and Oak Road. The motorcyclist was taken to an undisclosed hospital with unknown injuries.
According to state police, the unmarked vehicle was not pursuing the motorcycle and the two were not involved in a police matter. State police are still investigating the accident and will release more information later.
