Two flown following vehicle accident in Center Township
Two medical helicopters have been called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash at Route 308 and Jamisonville Road in Center Township, authorities said. Three people were reported injured in the wreck shortly before 10 a.m. the extent of the injuries was not immediately known, but two people are being flown to hospitals.
The vehicles involved in the accident were a Cadillac CTS and a Cadillac Deville.
State police said the crash happened when one of the drivers, a Slippery Rock woman in her early-30s, ran a stop sign. They also suspect she may have been under the influence of drugs.
She and a passenger in the other car, a man who was ejected from the vehicle, were flown to Pittsburgh hospitals.
The other driver, a man believed to be in his 50s, was taken by ambulance to Butler Memorial Hospital. All of the occupants were conscious and talking after the crash.
None of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
