Blaine Montag

Blaine H. Montag, 82, of Cabot passed away on Sept. 8, 2020, at the Oertel Care Center at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born March 3, 1938, in Butler, he was the son of Harold Montag and Dorothy (Pflueger) Montag.

Blaine had worked in the warehouse for American Hardware.

He was a very active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Matoka of Butler; his siblings, Elaine (Gene) Yoho of Cincinnati, Ohio, Marjean (Thomas) Anthony of Blacksburg, Va., Keith (Joyce) Montag of Sacramento, Calif., Gary (Peggy) Montag of Sacramento, Calif., and Jane (Robert) Stickney of Franklin, Tenn.; one grandson, Benjamin Dennis; and one granddaughter, Breanna McCormick.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie Schmoock Montag; and one sister, Shirley Montag.

MONTAG — Friends of Blaine H. Montag, who died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, 330 Hannahstown Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
