Motorcyclist dies in Muddy Creek Township crash
A New Castle man was killed early Sunday when he crashed his motorcycle on Route 422 in Muddy Creek Township, authorities said.
Joseph Kerr, 50, was apparently following his son, who was on another motorcycle, when he lost control of the bike around 12:30 a.m., about one mile west of Route 528.
Kerr was pronounced dead at the scene, said Butler County Coroner William Young III. He died of blunt force trauma to the head and chest. There was no autopsy.
