Salvation Army offers food distribution Friday

FILE — Captain Dave Means of the Salvation Army put a box of food food into a vehicle at a food distribution on Friday, September 4, 2020.

The Salvation Army Butler Worship and Service Center on West Cunningham Street in Butler will host a drive-thru food distribution Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. or until all food is gone.

Families will receive one box each of meat, produce and dairy, plus one gallon of milk. Each car will receive one distribution of these items. If multiple families attend in one car, identification is required.

Vehicles must enter Race Street off West Diamond Street to line up for the distribution and stay to the right as much as possible, not blocking any driveways.

Attendees can then pull into The Salvation Army parking lot. Patrons are asked not to start lining up until 12:30 p.m.

The Salvation Army thanks Sysco Foods for their support in offering the food distribution.
