7:38 a.m. Saturday — Nicholas F. Ambrosini, 63, of New Castle, was charged with driving at unsafe speeds after a vehicle he was driving collided with a parked truck trailer.According to state police, Ambrosini did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Wick Road and Boyers Road in Mercer Township, subsequently failing to control his 1994 Ford F-150. After traveling through Boyers Road, the truck collided with a trailer about 20 feet north of Boyers Road.Ambrosini was not injured.1:50 p.m. Friday — State troopers charged Achlyn M. Holizna, 25, of Butler, with following too closely after a pair of rear-end accidents on Oneida Valley Road in Summit Township.Holizna was driving a 2018 Dodge Durango south on Oneida Valley Road when the vehicle she was driving collided with a car that was waiting on another vehicle to turn left into a private driveway. That vehicle then crashed into the rear of the 2004 Ford Mustang that was waiting for opposing traffic to clear.None of the drivers were injured.
