Woman injured escaping mobile home fire
A woman escaped a mobile home fire Sunday night in northern Butler County by breaking a window and climbing out, authorities said.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, reportedly suffered an eight-inch cut to one of her arms and was taken by ambulance to Grove City Medical Center. Her condition was not immediately known.
The state police fire marshal has been called in to investigate the blaze in Marion Township but it was not believed to be suspicious, Joe Fitzgerald, chief of the Marion Township Volunteer Fire Company, said Monday.
Assisting the Marion Township VFD were firefighters from Harrisville, Clintonville in Venango County and Pine Township in Mercer County.
