Clearfield woman charged with shooting leg of 15-year-old son
A Clearfield Township woman is in jail on $250,000 bond after police say she shot her 15-year-old son in the leg.
State police charged Jenny Lenea Gaiser, 37, with first- and second-degree felony aggravated assault, along with misdemeanors terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault and reckless endangerment following what they portray as an altercation that started with Gaiser's son pouring beer into the toilet and ended with her shooting him through a bedroom door.
According to state police, Gaiser began drinking alcohol when she arrived home Tuesday evening, and after some time the 15-year-old started dumping Gaiser's beer into the toilet.
Police arrived on scene slightly after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday shortly before the son was flown to UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh via helicopter, where he was treated and is in stable condition with a gunshot wound in his left thigh.
