Butler schools continuing with remote instruction
All schools in the Butler Area School District will continue using remote instruction for the two days school will be in session next week.
Superintendent Brian White posted a message on the district website saying all schools including Center Avenue Community School, will use remote instruction Monday and Tuesday. Thanksgiving break is from Wednesday through Nov. 30.
He said the COVID-19 transmission thresholds for returning to in-person instruction were exceeded as of Thursday.
On Friday someone at the intermediate high school reported that they tested positive for COVID, but there were no close contacts at the school, White said.
In addition, someone at Connoquenessing Elementary School reported Thursday that they tested positive for COVID, but there were no close contacts at the school.
