Two-car crash in Butler
Two vehicles were involved in a crash Sunday at the intersection of West Jefferson and South Chestnut streets in Butler. Both vehicles came to a stop next to each other, with one striking a utility pole. Butler fire Dept. Capt. Kevin McAfee said the crash occurred shortly after 11 a.m.The driver of one vehicle began to head south on Chestnut after getting a green light. The car had no other passengers. Another vehicles, traveling the wrong way on West Jefferson with three people inside, collided with the first car. Both vehicles sustained front-end damage. Non of the persons involved had to be taken to a hospital. butler City Police and Butler Ambulance also responded to the accident. No other information was available.
