Police investigate slashed tires
State police are working to find out who slashed the tires of 20 vehicles parked at the Clearview Mall in Center Township sometime Wednesday morning.
The victims had left their vehicles at the parking lot about 5 a.m. to board buses that took them to a pro-President Donald Trump rally in Washington, D.C.
Cpl. Mike Lewis said there are no suspects and police cannot say at this point if the vandalism was politically motivated.
“I'm not sure if the cars had political signs on them,” he said, “and we're still looking into that to see if it was political.”
The vehicles, he said, were parked across from the Eat'n Park in the center of the mall.
