COVID-19 Update 1/13: BHS inpatient numbers continue drop

The Butler Health System has seen another reduction of inpatients at both Butler Memorial and Clarion hospitals.

According to Wednesday's report by BHS, Butler Memorial had 36 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, with nine of those being treated in the intensive care unit.

That is a decrease of six inpatients from Monday's report and one patient less in the intensive care unit; however Butler Memorial reported three COVID-19-related deaths during the same time.
