Dorothy M. “Dodie” Paul, 86, a longtime resident of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.

Dorothy was born Jan. 23, 1934, in Pittsburgh, and was the youngest daughter of the late Joseph W. Miller and Dora H. (Harms) Miller.

She was a graduate of West View High School, and the widow of Edgar H. Paul, who she lost in 2018 after 62 years.

Dorothy worked for many years alongside her husband in his accounting practice.

She enjoyed bowling, golfing, attending concerts and shows with her friends, marathon card games with “the girls,” and spending time with her family, neighbors, and many friends made throughout her lifetime. She loved her grandchildren, and spent as much time with them as she was able.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Robert (Lorrie) Paul of Cabot, and Patrick J. (Janet) Paul of Sunderland, Mass.; her grandchildren, Eric (Danielle) Paul, Casey (Nathan) Lane, Andrew Paul and Adam Paul; and her great-granddaughter, Emma Behanna.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Karen Sue; her brother, Roy Miller; and her sister, June M. Eichner.

PAUL — At the family’s request, there was no public visitation for Dorothy M. “Dodie” Paul, who died Monday, Dec. 28, 2020.

Funeral services were private.

Burial was held at Allegheny County Memorial Cemetery in Allison Park.

Arrangements were handled by Redmond Funeral Home, Freeport.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Butler, PA 16053.
