Berdette O. Turner

Berdette O. Turner, 85, of Evans City passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 17, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 15, 1935, in Forward Township, he was the son of the late W. Ray and Eleanor Thompson Turner.

Berdette retired from Armco in Butler as an equipment operator with 35 years of service. He spent his next 25 years working with his son at Turner Tractor in Evans City.

He attended Victory Family Church.

Berdette was not a man to sit still and was constantly on the go.

Berdette is survived by one son, Ray (Dawn) Turner of Evans City; one granddaughter, Bethany (Jimmy) Dommert of Florida; and two sisters, Eileen (Nelson) James of Renfrew, and Phyllis Bacon of Canada.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace L. Hartman Turner, who passed away Feb. 10, 2017; one son, Rick; and one grandson.

TURNER — Services for Berdette O. Turner, who died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, were held privately by his family.

He was laid to rest beside his wife in Evans City Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Evans City.
