Eugene D. Scott
Eugene D. “Doug” Scott, 71, of Renfrew passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, while under the care of Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople.
Born Oct. 14, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Eugene H. Scott and Lois G. Coleman Scott.
Doug proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy, during the Vietnam War.
He was employed as a lineman for Bell Telephone. Later in life, he drove a bus for Port Authority Transit.
He enjoyed watching sports in his free time.
Doug will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Sean P. Scott of Renfrew; his sister, Shirley Heckard (Richard) of Evans City; his brother, Daniel Scott (Pam) of Ellwood City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his siblings, Donald Scott, Dale Scott, Doris Lemons and Linda Caldwell.
