Mary Scott
Mary (Gall) Scott, 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, following a short illness.
She was born Jan. 17, 1935, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late George and Irene (Bachman) Gall.
She was a graduate of Butler High School.
She was the loving and proud mother of three sons, Randy (Jessica) Scott, Jeff (Ellen) Scott and Stephen (Pam) Scott; and her daughter, Lisa (Jim) Gray.
Mary was “Grammy” to her precious grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Sarah, Jocelyn, Morgan, Kristen, Lauren, Elyse and Emily. Her pride and joy were her great-grandchildren, John, Claire and Ainslee.
Mary, a selfless devoted mom, cherished spending time with her family, grandchildren and most recently, her great-grandchildren.
Much of her life was spent at Little League ballgames and basketball gyms in support of her children. She was a part of a card club for years, and later in life, she loved attending various dances and the friends she met there over the years.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Maggie Gall; her brother, David Gall; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Scott; her brother, Stanley Gall; her sister, Carol (Gall) Leyland; and her nephew, David Gall and his companion, William O’Brien.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Sunnyview “Sunflower” floor, for the love and comfort they showed our mom during her stay there.
