A New Castle man allegedly shot a gun inside a Slippery Rock Township apartment.

Anthony D. Retone, 20, of New Castle, was arrested by Slippery Rock Police early Sunday morning in connection to felony charges of illegally owning a gun, carrying a gun without a license and having a gun with an altered serial number.

Retone was also charged with one misdemeanor count of reckless endangerment.

The charges were filed Sunday by state police, who conducted the investigation.
