BC3 named Pa.'s 3rd best nursing school

Butler County Community College has been named the third best value for obtaining an associate degree in nursing in Pennsylvania for 2021.

A news release from Nursing Degree Search, an online resource dedicated to nursing career and education data, said 55 registered nurses completed the BC3 associate degree nursing program in 2019.

The average graduate from the program earned a median annual salary of $54,400 and had a monthly loan payment of $134, according to the release.

BC3 is engaged in an $18 million construction project to add the Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health building to the campus, which will increase the school's capacity of enrollment in nursing programs.

Construction on the project is projected to be complete in 18 to 24 months.
