Community Days returns to Cranberry Township
After a hiatus in 2020, Community Days will return to Cranberry Township in July, bringing safe, family-friendly fun to residents.
Scheduled for July 8 to 10 at the township community park, the three-day event will feature live music at the recently renovated Rotary Amphitheater. That project is the most recent Cranberry Township Community Chest (CTCC) Project of the Year, with fundraising ongoing.
Staples of the weekend will return, including the Cruisin' Cranberry Car Show, Community Chase 5K and the Saturday night fireworks display.
Demonstrations and displays include 40 colorfully hand-knitted live trees and a pickleball demonstration by the Cranberry Township Pickleball Association.
Attendees can also browse socially distanced vendors and food trucks, enjoy carnival rides and spend time in the newly added Kid Zone, which includes free activities for children.
While the celebration itself is important, the safety of vendors, guests and the community are the highest priority for Cranberry Township and CTCC.
Vendors and guests are asked to abide by COVID-19 mandates to ensure the highest state standards are met. In the event Community Days needs to be canceled because of state mandates, donations will be fully refunded as they were in 2020.
Admission is free and all proceeds gathered through vendor and sponsorship support will benefit the CTCC Project the Year.
Vendors are being sought. To register and for up-to-date information, visit yourctcc.org.
