Moniteau's Kimmel wins for Irish
RALEIGH, N.C. — Moniteau graduate Maura Kimmel, a graduate student at the University of Notre Dame, won the discus event in her first-ever track and field meet with the Fighting Irish.
Kimmel threw the discus 52.58 meters to win the Raleigh Relays. The toss was the second-longest discus throw in Notre Dame women’s track and field history.
