Motorcycle crash sends 2 to hospital

CRANBERRY TWP. — A motorcycle crashed near 20660 Route 19 at approximately 7:42 p.m. Tuesday, and sent two riders to the hospital via life flight.

Butler County dispatch said Cranberry Township Police, Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company and Cranberry Township EMS responded to the scene.

A man and a woman were flown to a hospital with injuries after they were thrown from a motorcycle in the two-vehicle accident. Police said the motorcycle and a sport-utility vehicle collided at the intersection of Route 19 South and Progress Drive.
