SAXONBURG — No one was injured in a Wednesday morning crash involving a school bus, according to authorities.
Butler County 911 dispatched the call at around 8:40 a.m., initially telling emergency crews there were injuries involved in the two-vehicle crash.
State police said the W.J. Roenigk school bus was entering the West Main Street intersection from South Butler Street, when it struck a white Toyota SUV on the passenger side.
Police said the passenger of the SUV initially was rattled by the crash, but did not seek further treatment.
According to police, the bus was loaded with students at the time, but neither they nor the driver were injured.
The bus left the scene of the crash around 9:15 a.m., while police remained on scene with the SUV until a tow truck could arrive.
An accident report for the crash will be made available by state police to the public later.
