Jane Fairbank

Jane Sadler Fairbank of Oak Harbor, Wash., passed to Heaven on Feb. 21, 2021.

She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Condliff and Suzanne Hays; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jane was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Pittsburgh, to Chester and Elizabeth Reuter Sadler.

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, she became a stewardess with American Airlines. She then went on to a long career teaching third grade in Freeport.

Upon retirement, she moved to Oak Harbor to be closer to family. She enjoyed gardening, especially roses, and passed many happy hours reading cowboy books.

She will be missed for her wit and kindness.

FAIRBANK — As per her wishes, no formal funeral services will be held for Jane Sadler Fairbank, who died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallin Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, Wash.
