Robert Dale Spohn

Robert Dale Spohn, 56, of Clinton Township passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 2, 2021, with his family by his side.

He was born Aug. 30, 1964, in Harrison Township, Pa. Robert was the son of Carl R. and Barbara A. (Eurich) Spohn of Fawn Township.

He had lived for the past 16 years in Clinton Township, and before that Fawn Township.

Robert was an attorney for 29 years in Saxonburg.

He was a member of Center United Methodist Church, the American Bar Association and Penn State Alumni Association.

Robert graduated from Highlands High School in 1982. He also attended Penn State University, and he earned his law degree from the University of Dayton Law School.

Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, the Outer Banks and RV camping. Robert was also a fan of Penn State and Steelers football.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Laurie A. (Sherrieb) Spohn; his children, Shane D. (Holly) McGregor of Natrona Heights, and Braden R. and Charlie A. Spohn, both at home.

Also surviving is a grandson, Miles D. McGregor; and a sister, Michelle A. (Tony) Schrim of Green Tree.

Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Spohn, who passed away in 2015.

SPOHN — Immediate family members will have a private ceremony for Robert Dale Spohn, who died Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Bob’s life Sunday, June 13, 2021, in Hatteras, N.C.

Arrangements were handled by Duster Funeral Home, 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum.

The family has chosen to donate to The Manchester Project, a registered nonprofit, which provides direct support to those with ALS and their caregivers.
